Good Housekeeping
A quiet little week over here at the JDCA. We will have a new report Thursday, but until then there’s not much new to report, so I figured I’d take this time to do a little housekeeping.
For those of you who haven’t seen it, our website received a MASSIVE overhaul last month, and I encourage you to take a look at it at http://www.thejdca.org. We’ve added (are continuing to add) new functions and features to make it a much smoother/attractive experience. Got some suggestions for things you might like to see? Leave them in the comments below, and they might get put in this year.
Likewise, a few of our members will be traveling to various conferences throughout the year, something which we didn’t get the chance to in 2012. We’ll be putting out a short list soon of where you might see us, but if you’re at a conference centered around diabetes and see someone passing out JDCA cards, stop and have a chat.
We also want to express our excitement for how much the Alliance has grown in the past few months. It’s great to see all these new faces so interested in pushing for a Practical Cure, and we’ll be rolling out some improvements to help make this even easier ( look for a revamped donor tools section soon).
